Most Malbec is going to be pretty big and pair well with grilled red meat. But I believe the LaFortuna is more medium-bodied. I think you’ll be fine with either the duck or the venison. If it were a bigger Malbec I might steer away from the duck.

Ready to try a LaFortuna 2006 Malbec. Any suggestions about pairing? Would duckling be a good choice? If not, perhaps venison? Seems like it would be wasted with lasagna. ?
